Primsacolor 48 is another great prismacolor set to consider if you are an art guru. This contains a fair amount of color for the money. It contains several shades of the same colors so that you have a base to work with. From this base you are able to also blend colors. If you are new to art or are looking for a new prismacolor set then the prismacolor 48 makes sense. It does not have too many pencils so that you don’t have to pay a huge amount of money for them, but it does include the basic colors and several popular shades for each color. The prismacolor 48 is highly recommended to anyone that would like something more than the prismacolor 24 but does not want to spend as much money as needed when purchasing the prismacolor 120.
